They've been in their coop for a month now. All have been using the roost at night for the past 2 weeks. I no longer have any doubts about using sand in the coop. I love it! Easy to clean and no smell. I planted all chicken safe flowers around the coop and run so there's no confusion for my family on what they can pick and feed the chickens.
