I am trying to figure out which are roos and which are hens! They are 8 week old barred rocks but two are buff orph/barred rock mix- not sure if there are pix of them-cream colored with black. Supposed to all be barred rocks but two surprises when hatching! lady we got eggs from said they are kept separate but obviously not completely! I am mostly going on if they have red in the comb/waddle and thicker legs.
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
