Nearly half of the lumber used is from construction site dumpsters. I picked up the weathered cedar siding from a Lutheran Church who at the time were re-siding their building. Metal roofing came free from neighbor. I bought the hardware and two sheets of sheeting. Large roll of chicken wire was on clearance from Lowe's. I still want to make oval openings for the interior side of nesting boxes. (I'm just a little tired) Based on the "Wichita Coop" design, just changed the roof direction, not a skilled builder but the ladies seem right at home.
