New flock is coming soon and we are getting ready for them! The pictures are of our first DIY coop and run. Not bad for the first time, made a few mistakes and fixed them, but the experience was a lot of fun. The family worked together on this and that made it a memorable experience! We have a corrugated roof for the rain and hardware wire around and on top of the run. 12x12 blocks surrounding the bottom of the run to deter predators. The chicks are 4 weeks and spend the day in the pen . They love it!
