New brooder- it's 4 x 6 and will house 6 chicks for a while. Love the sand bedding so much more than the pine woodchips. Sprinkled PDZ in with the sand. The chicks (not pictured here) love the sand too! We have a lid we cover it with to keep the big chicks from flying out.

Little chick side. The panel is easily removed so they can all be together when they are sized more similarly. The Australorps are quite a bit bigger right now. Chicks grow sooo fast though! Maybe next week they can be together.

This way our 3 week olds and 1 week olds can be together but separate. When they are similar sized we can remove the separator and they can be together. I love to watch them socialize.
