Buttercup on the left, and Lady on the right. She had some sort of eye problem when we first got her, I didn't notice till I got her home her eyes wouldn't open. But after wiping with a warm damp cloth, she's fine! Had to put some no peck lotion next to her eyes, because the other chicks wouldn't quit picking on her.

Our first chicks! We didn't have time to get the coop up before the chicks arrived at the feed store. We could have waited, but they were selling fast! So we set up this brooder in a spare bedroom out of a kiddie pool, hardware cloth, and some old bird toys. Here we have 5 buff orpingtons, 5 barred rocks, 6 easter eggers, and 5 turkeys. The turkeys had to be separated at first, they were being buttheads at first, bullying my chicks. But after a few days, the chicks learned how to give it right back, and now they get along fine.
