Chain link fence put on top, we added a cool shade tarp that covers the entire top. That help tremendously with the intense Texas summers

Automatic door in. We also use sand instead of straw on our floor. My husband drilled holes in a shovel and he sifts the poop out every morning, only takes a couple of minutes. Our plan is to do a total change out twice a year.

He roost added, in hindsight the top rung is too close to the wall. That is the favorite spot to roost and it makes quite a mess on the wall!

Almost done with our coop! My favorite thing about the coop is the windows. They were salvaged from my Grandparents old Dairy Barn! I also love the inside screen door. It came from my father-in-law. He had thrown it away when he remodeled and I actually dug it out of a trash pile!
