We added three roosts for the 9 birds. I also added a lower hatch on the back to allow for easy removal of the poo.

We added a new roof to both the existing coop and the addition. The materials were only $30 at HD. It was my first time roofing but I think it came out pretty good. It also makes it look like the addition was part of the initial design.

We currently have 3 chickens and just adopted 6 more. The existing coop wasn't going to be large enough. We removed a wall and built on the coop. Now we have almost double the sq ft.

We recently acquired 6 additional chicken to our flock of three. Needless to say we needed more room in our coop and run. Attached are the most recent photos of the remodel. Yes we added led lights to give it a red light district motif. Hopefully there will be lots of egg laying in the future.
