The finished product! We had a Grand Opening party.... I will celebrate anything! The girls registered for watermelon rinds, grapes & crickets. Big success. AS you can see, I strung blue yard in the open area to deter the girls from flying out & the aerial predators from flying in. So far, so good.

We had no idea what we were building other than it needed four walls & ventilation. About 90% of the house is recycled. This is my baby brother on the ladder.... telling me what to do & philosophy of life... I think by the age I am at, I got a handle on life.

Yes the girl child is in the pen but she s having a good time. Our fence is 5 & 1/2 feet tall. So far, nothing has been able to get out on in. Except the girl child. :-)

Our Coop

Built out of mostly recycled goods, we had no idea what what was to come of the Coop de Ville. But with paint & decor, it turned into a pretty cute little home for our chicks!
