We know its just an old greenhouse that was "too hot" for plants. With a little tlc, some chicken wire and a few vent holes our flock has made this their home. We replaced the gravel and hay floor for sand a couple of months ago and have LOVED the difference in the ease of clean up. There are several different laying boxes that we have found all work very well. Started with cardbord boxes that we could just toss when they got dirty and then picked up a couple of milk crates. We even have a couple of double rubbermaid boxes that we have seen two girls laying at once in. Added four, eight foot 2x4s to the rafters for them to roost on and have an extra bucket we toss table scraps in.
