Everything has arrived!! They love the BSFL. The last thing to arrive was the hardware cloth. Almost every day for the past week, Pennie has gotten out of the yard and a friend brings her home. I told him today that maybe she just likes getting out because she likes him. I am thinking that I will make her a harness and we’ll walk down the length of the park and back.
Today was the only nice day out of the weekend, so I did not get much done. I did notice that every time I raked up the straw and sticks and put it into a pile, chickens would get in it and kick it everywhere again. *sigh* Just like children in the leaf pile in fall. Teehee
When I finally start working on the run, I’ll take pictures, but for now, it’s just clean up. Since it’s a trailer park, the previous tenants did very little to the yard and my husband and brother-in-law broke a few windows as did the neighbors. Trailer windows are too thin and easy to break. Plus there’s sticks everywhere from the tree in our yard. Wish I could remove it, but now it’s too big and unsafe with our trailers where they are and where the tree is. So we just deal with the clean up of the branches.
