All done ... the food bin holds a board in front of the shelves. Left the valances on the windows ... now to add some decorations and it will be a cute little coop.

All done ... the food bin holds a board in front of the shelves. Left the valances on the windows ... now to add some decorations and it will be a cute little coop.
The waterer is an old dog waterer on a cinder block to keep it off the floor and hopefully won't get too many shaving thrown in it. The nesting boxes are in the corner ... haven't decided if I should raise them up or not.
The feeder is hung up ... and an old litter box will hopefully to be used for the dust bath. I may have to take the cover off of it though.
The roost installed ... it was positioned so that the storage doors can be opened. The roost is on hinges so it can be raised up while cleaning out the coop. The poop boards were put in place under the roost.
The shelves will be covered up so the chickens won't try to nest on them.
The window seat will be used for storage of the pine shaving a DE underneath and the poop boards will be placed on top.
We took out the screens and attached hardwire cloth to make the windows more secure and allow air to flow through the coop.
