Another of Dolly. She's my favorite. In spite of the fact she won't speak to me anymore.
Dolly has to be the prettiest little chicken I've ever seen. I swear her grandfather had to have been an opportunistic pheasant. Her feathers around her neck are black tipped like pheasant.
This is my favorite hen. Her name is Dolly. She was a determined little brooder. Once I had to drag her off a nest of hidden eggs. they weren't fertilized. It was before we got Abraham. She hated me ever since for that. Trying to get back in her good graces by letting her try again. 4 of her 11 eggs hatched. They are darling. One likes to climb up on its mom's back.
Abraham became a papa September 24 and 25.
Abraham. He's a mutt. But takes good care of his 'girls'. I love him. My husband named him Abraham because he promised him descendants as numerous as the stars. LOL
