Back in 2011, the coop was just put up and Pepper and the late Tracey (Rhode Isalnd Red who died of impacted crop) standing out in front. Pepper and Tracey were the left overs of my first batch(4) of chickens which I raised from two-weeks old. One died of a mysterious lump and the other was a rooster.

Tracey was persistant in walking along the top of the fence and peeking in throught the windows.
Tracey and Pepper both of whom were broody at the time sitting on some fertile eggs that we gave them.

The flock attacks some lettuce.
Three fluffy chicken bums. My mum works for DPI and she brings home fruitfly larve which is a great way to give my chickens heaps of protein. They run like made when I come out with their favourite food box.
