Can you guess where the chickens roost?
The Coop. The door is 1"x12" pine. It's 8 1/2' high @ peak. Just 3 tab shingles, you can see my southern facing plex-e-glass windows.
Removable nest boxes (20) aprox. 1'x1'x2'. They like the 5 on the bottom the best. The lower the pecking order, the higher the egg. They love pecking at frozen "suet on a string."

Hardwood ribs, plywood gussets, treated 4x4 2' in ground.
Hardwood (Maple, Red Oak, Yellow Birch) siding from local lumber mill. I buried siding 1' deep. I used 1 1/2" siding below ground and 1/2" above.
