This is the first coop and run I built, a movable one, built in summer 2014 for the little classroom chicks I got. I added a run and a ladder to a rabbit hutch I had gotten from someone. One chick got out of a make-shift pen before this little Inn was completed, and our dog got that one. Then another chick turned out to be a rooster, who went to a farm. That left one pullet, a pretty gray easter egger which I named Deedee. I bought her three friends, a white leghorn, a black star, and another easter egger.

new coop construction, summer 2015. 2x4 coop. I used all Craigslist finds and freebies and leftovers. This coop is all done now, and the cost was literally about $5, mostly spent on paint.
