One of our Tetra Tints laid 5 double-yolkers in a row - They looked like goose eggs! Then she took a week off laying!
All in a day's work (middle egg the first laid by our Blue Copper Maran)

First egg from our newest flock: Prime suspect is Lucy, 18-week-old Red Sex Link. Egg size was small, but perfect!
I couldn't resist the photo op in our refrigerator door and made it my FB cover :)
I was surprised to find a very pale pink egg yesterday, instead of the usual light brown ... maybe a special Easter edition??!!
