tomorrow I start on the landscaping for this side of the coop. going to make them a sandbox underneath the nesting boxes that I can add diatomaceous earth to (food grade of course) for added parasite control.
Plastic wash tubs for easy cleaing. I bought these for $1.00 each and a bonus, they were made in the USA!
3 layers of roof material. The piece of plywood I cut out of the wall, a piece of an old thick computer chair mat, and scraps of pallet. The hinges & latches were in a coffee can of old bits and pieces in the garage. I painted them and they look great

door works perfect
used all reclaimed materials to build the nest box, awning shuttes, deck and window framing.
got the roofing materials all laid out now to attach them and trim things up
