Cookie's first egg! Green! A blue egg from princess for comparison, a white store bought egg, and an old brown egg from my orpington.
Princess, grown beautiful after she finally moulted! She was my auction hen i got for $2; no one could tell she was even a hen because the poor thing was so bald! No beard, even. Now she's restored :)

The fancy saddle i made for cocoa! Peach ribbons and lace, a rusty pleather outer and smoky blue stitching......
My plucky and my cocoa were inseperable. I never knew that a chicken could form such a bond and be so loyal to one.........
