Filled it up with dirt at the bottom, then crushed rock for the top 6" or so - it's a damp spot on the slight slope, so this should keep the inside run nice and dry in the winter.
A foot down, and about 4-5" wide, with 1/2" hardware cloth all the way down and across.
Digging the moat - oops, I mean trench.
They're in!
The work site - who knew you needed so many tools for what seems like a not-so-big project?!
