This is the water barrel. Notice that it has a dual water spicket. One has a hose attached that goes into the coop, the other will have a hose attached that goes into the run. These feed water through PVC pipes in both the coop and the run providing water to the chickens via nipples.

This is the solar panel for the automatic door. Notice the vents under the roof. There are vents under the nest boxes and around the sides too. During the winter, the larger vents are covered with cut pieces of 2x6 boards with screws. The screws can be backed out and the boards removed during the summer for air flow.

This is another view of the back of the coop. The door can be raised to remove the eggs from the nesting boxes. Notice the white plastic that was installed under the siding and over the door to prevent the rain from running into the nests.
