Building my 12 x 20 Coop for my Free Range Layers
It's almost done. I thought about making a wall hardware cloth but It storms out of the West, Rains and Snows out of the North. Beating sun from the south in the summer. I didn't want to buy 160 sq ft of hardware cloth for the east side. I have recently decided to cut back on my Free Ranging birds and that coop will be divided in to a 4 4x8 pens, 1 4x4 pen, 1 4x16 pen for Free Rangers and a 4x8 Room for feed.

Good idea about more windows. Everything I read on BYC stresses ventilation. My coop is 10 X 40 divided in to 4 equal pens of 10 X 10. Great idea about the feed room. Fortunately mine is just a few steps away in a walk-in shed. Is your roof tin?

No it will be rolled roofing as soon as it stops raining and dries up. TIn is really expensive compared to rolled roofing. I will post updated pics when it is all done!
