When we got our little chickens, they were already about three and fours months old ... among them was what the previous owner told us was this little 'turken' ... well, she's actually a 'Showgirl' a cross between a Silkie and a Turken ... and she's adorable ... has a great personality. At first we did have to separate her from the other birds though because they were picking on her, she was younger and smaller than them. However, she has since made fast friends with one of our white broody mother silkies. They walk around together like BFF's! Since this picture was taken, she has grown up and is laying plenty of eggs and is an all around great asset to our flock.
