She is closest to what is known as Red Quill. A Red Quill male hatched out of Roy Shell's Light Browns, and he bred them for awhile. I understand a similar hatching took place in Old English about the same time. I suspect the color genes are related to the "Buttercup and the Golden Penciled Hamburg color patterns. J Arrington
