Oh mercy, thanks a bunch. This coop has been my dream and definitely a labor of love. By the time it’s complete (if that’s ever really possible), the only pictures I won’t have shared will be those of my blood, sweat, and tears. I guess you could say that this “project” has branded me from all the scars that will remain with me. Bumps and bruises go away, but that danged old hardware cloth will leave a good mark on you!
I know what you mean about the hardware cloth! I didn't realize how that stuff can cut you and made the mistake of working with it in shorts when I was building my coop I looked down and my legs were all bloodied up and didn't even realize it because that stuff is like razors!

Absolutely! And that stuff is rolled up so tight it’ll put a whooping on you before you know it. I have learned to use a couple pieces of 2x4 and screw the wire down to a scrap board in order to measure and cut it. But, it still gets me on occasion.
