Not sure how different the different breeds are. Our pekin duks were easy. The male was whiter, had a wider bridge at the eyes, heavier, and a curl at the back near the oil gland. the female did not diplay any of these. Hard to tell from the pic, but I think the mallard has the curl at the back near the tail too. good luck.
