Yes and I consciously bought both girls that way. This year was very bad for frostbite. The gal I bought the girls from even said she’s never had fb this bad before and she’s been breeding for years and has had chickens all her life.
We live and learn from our mistakes. I now know to put a lot of shavings between the chickens and the bottom of the coop if it’s cement based.
The girls are just fine without those toes. It gives Evey character. I love her nubby foot!! We used to have a white American bulldog that had his leg amputated at the knee and he was also adorable with his little nub.
