Here's the wire loop that I pull and attach to the hook to open the pop door in the morning and then in the evening I unhook it and slowly lower it once the girls are all tucked in bed.

This pulley actually doesn't work as intended but it keeps the wire in place and everything works so I'm happy. My chickens don't even know so mums the word!
This pulley is above the pop door.
The ramp used to be white but the girls decided to leave me some presents.
