First night in the new "Inn", May 5, 2013, - 1 rooster and 10 hens. The box under their roost is like a great big kitty litter box. It is filled with Sweet PDZ (horse stall refresher). Cleaning it is a breeze - just scoop it every couple of days. (I found this great idea from another Backyard Chickens member.)

The girls nesting boxes and décor. They took to them right away.
The builder and his masterpiece! (Almost complete . . . needs front porch!) The door is from my Grandparents old house that was built in 1939 and the red-trimmed double window from my family's country place - which was built around 1958 by my Dad and Pappy.
This is the chicken wire wall that divides the chickens half from the feed room. There is also linoleum on floor of their side.
