First thing I did was remove the wire, and start adding more studs for the siding.
...and another shot of the security wire. This was on the run side of the coop, so I actually buried it in the ground about 2-3 inches. I'll have to take it out in a couple of years and put in something that won't rust out, but it should do for now.

I took the old wire and attached it to the bottom of the coop. It extends out at ground level about 18 inches. depending on what side of the coop it was, I then covered it with either dirt, rocks, or old busted up concrete. Should help with predators. (if this isn't enough, PLEASE tell me!)

Here you can see the dilapidated coop just to the right of the shed. It was covered with garbage and a giant blue tarp when we first moved in, so we didn't see it at first (the rest of the property was pristine!). All it was was a roof with some wire wrapped around it. No security at all, really.
