Fruit fly trap: cantaloupe juice and seed fiber from inside the fruit mixed with water and 3 drops of dish soap. The overripe banana upped my capture rate immensely by drawing more flies near.
Top view of trap: notice that they do sink when you compare the top to the bottom....
Drowned flies: in less than 24 hours the trap caught about 40! Compare that to the measly 5 trapped in over a week with a vinegar trap....
