George in the hospital with a broken leg after a fight with another roo over Penny. He got into the fence and I believe that is where it broke. 3 weeks to get out of the hospital and he is back to running again. The other roo, well he found his way to the freezer after getting aggressive with me. He decide after George, Penny was his, I bent down to pick her up and he came at my face. I saw him out of the corner of my eye and reached out and grabbed his neck as he came at me. I swear I heard him say "Oh no...". Tossed him into the aggressive rooster pen for future dealings. I have no space for aggressive roos. They do not last more then a couple of days. We are in Ca and we like happy chickens, just like happy cows.
