Getting to know each other the "safe" way
The flock greets the new goslings. I always keep the new goslings and their mother separate from the rest of the flock when I introduce them. If I didn't, the goslings would get roughed up by the curious flock members.
The Buff, Tabi, was an excellent mother.
Buff with newly hatched goslings; I close them up in the main coop until they are strong on their legs and ready to meet the flock.
