Got another black copper marans egg again today. This one is quite a bit darker than the first one I got and more uniformed (other was speckled). Far right is a RIR egg and far left is from what I was told is an amerucana, but it looks green to me.Either way I will be hatching some olive eggers and french black copper marans this spring!!!
My marans have been giving me some awesome chocolate colored eggs!
These BCM eggs and OE will be going in the incubator today along with 24 RIR eggs. Waiting on my EE to give me 1 more egg today to complete this 18 pack. Check out my Olive egger weekly pics thread and my Easter Egger weekly pics thread :)
More from my black coppers. egg colors seem to be random. sometimes they are pretty dark and other times they aren't. Front row left is from my Ameraucana and to the right is a RIR egg.
