@WitchyCatlady Yeah except she also suddenly refused food the same morning the green showed up in her poop. She still moving around the run forging and stuff but the sudden complete and total refusal of all food even a snack of mealworms along with the green showing up was what concerned me. I know I’m new but I wouldn’t of posted just the poop without there being other concerns! It just took ridiculously long to get the pictures up from my phone so apparently I didn’t specify the additional reasons for my concern. Along with her dis interest in food she seems to be scratching at her head and rubbing her beak a lot and I don’t know if that has anything to do with anything I just know that when chickens get sick if there IS something actualy wrong there basically ready to drop dead before you realize it.
@Sarah719 Hmm Maybe she ate some green plants that upset her. Do you have things growing yet? We are in the high plains and everything is dormant still
You could try oats. Mix them with hot water and a little thyme or oregano. Serve after they have cooled off. The herbs are antibacterial and might help if she's sick.
