Roosts in this pic now have the added 1x4x8 screwed on top, making the roosting space wider. Ole' tree stump was a big piece of firewood I had lying nearby. They didn't like it so it's gone now.
Water barrel system in the back. After roof replacement a gutter may be installed to catch runoff water.
Front end of coop exterior. Coming along slowly....

Door to coop you can see was cut in half, so that the bottom can be closed but the coop can still get the needed fresh air. Apron was still being added at this point.
Picture showing nesting boxes, little sandbox to dust bath in. PVC water line with poultry nipples for inside of coop, another line that runs outside with more nipples to the future run area. Both lines can be turned off, drained through end caps.
Roosting bars, 24' worth. Connected to coop wall with hinges. Roosting bars raise and hook to ceiling for clean out purposes.
