Here is my boy, Pepper at 19 weeks old today. You can't tell by the picture, but he's chasing the hen behind him. OMG!! It's constant! Poor hens. I have to pen the 'ol boy up separately at night or my flock won't go in the coop. I think he found some chicken Viagra or something. Maybe he's just young...?
Here are our two pekin duck hens. Our daughter brought them home from a yard sale one day. We suspect they were a week old when we got them making them about 9 weeks old as of today September 4th, 2015.
Here are my sweet little baby kids. Mocha (5mo on left) is the cutest little trouble maker. Cookie (4mo on right) is the sweetest little cuddler. They will be mama's some day and give me some sweet milk.

Yea! We got our first eggs yesterday!! We have 7 SLW hens and 6 PBR hens. They are 19 weeks old today. All my chicken friends were telling me not to expect eggs until the 24th week. We got three eggs, but one membrane was not firm enough to hold the contents of the egg. I’m sure it’s because it was her first one, but we plan to put some oyster shells in their coop.
