Bought Add-A-Motor D20 online ($80) and used Insteon I/O controller for 12v operation and magnetic contacts to read open/close status. All sunrise and sunset settings programmed with the ISY controller for all Insteon controls. The door will also open during the night if the temp rises above 80 deg. ie. A/C failure, fire, etc. Feed room on right side is the Harbor Freight 6' x 8' Greenhouse with a tarp over it. This is where it all started...FFA 50 Broiler project for my daughter in 2015. 50 broiler chicks to full grown in 8 weeks. Raised them in greenhouse, then built Main coop so we didn't have to cull out the small ones.

Feed & Water Detail. 2 different water systems. On fence, 5psi Nipple type. On right side, auto-fill cup type from China. The girls like the cups the best, however, they tend to need cleaning on a daily bases since their little beaks are always dirty. I adapted everything to low cost drip feeder tubing for the 5psi waterers...4 zones, 2 nipple zones, 2 cup zones. Crumble Deer Feeder is programmed for 7am, 8 secs and 4pm, 6 secs. App. 4lbs / day. Deer Feeders run on 4 AA Batteries that last about 1 year. The Crumbles drop straight down from the deer feeder into the 50lb turkey feeder. The eating area on the turkey feeder is around 4" deep, They have to stick their little heads way down to get the food thus eliminating all messy eating with absolutely no waste. This is the cure for food waste. BTW, chickens don't really like to swing. Step 1...Jan 2015, Paul & Gene starting construction of the main chicken coop. Converting U-shaped garden to fully enclosed Quonset Hut. Size 8'x8', wood frame door and rear wood frame for nest boxes, shelf & A/C. Covered with 3 mil poly sheeting, vapor barrier & tarp. 2-4'x8' Insulation Sheathing on roof under tarp.
