Hung a 5 gallon bucket with horizontal nipples. Never used those before, only the vertical ones. See how that works. My large gravity fed waterer is broken right now. Pipe burst after the roof blew off. Ended up placing a large funnel upside down on top of the bucket to keep them from roosting on it. Should do the job. Time will tell. Dust bathing box contains a mix of dirt, wood ash and DE. Used my litter pooper scooper to filter out rocks, chunks of woods, sticks, etc. to make it as fine and fluffy as possible.
Slapped a coat of paint on yesterday just to finally get some color on it. I had went to Lowes last week and was going buy regular red and white barn paint, however I found 5 gallons of Valspar latex satin in an almost identical red color. Someone had it mixed or something so it was on clearance. Normally $180.00, I paid $50.00. Then just a gallon of white for all the trim.

Added sand to the poop boards. Two packs of bedding for the coop. Made a wooden box a while back for dust bathing.
Cut and added some curtains to nesting boxes. Read they seem to like those. Black Jacked nesting boxes as well.
Roosts fold up and hang from rafters. Then poop boards and ramps come up. Easy peeze at cleaning time.
