This is the duodenum sliced open across both sides at once. Can't really tell much from the photos but it was pretty much a solid mass.

See how tightly wound the intestines are. They are hard instead of soft like a healthy intestine. Not at all flexible. Notice too, the little dots or lesions or whatever they're called... absolutely everywhere.
