I decided to use conduit to build the frame for the run. The pipe and wire is set in 6 inches of concrete.
The gate turned out well. I had to put a cement barricade at the bottom after 3 of the chicks squeezed out. I figured if they could get out, something else could get in.
I used a wood border to keep the sand in.
