I designed this chicken tractor to blend with deck and patio sections in my yard. It uses the rear axel and wheels from an EZ GO golf cart connected to the frame with a 6 part line to raise the frame about 8 inches off the ground to relocate the CT.
The tallest section of the upper house s for roosting. The house has a straw floor, automatic waterer, feeder, and a door in the floor for access to the ramp to the lower run area.
The wire mesh panels below are attached with screen door hooks for easy access to the lifting mechanism and wheels.
I used landscape timber for the frame.
