I do not prefer chemicals, but i do use this to clear out leg mites and treat lice/mites. It works great and is less than $10! My bottle is a year old and i haven't used much, very cost effective.

Brooder setup i used, a armoire that i used the bucket and a lightbulb in when the chicks were tiny, then when they got bigger i covered the front and let them have the whole space. Very few chicks for this space, 4 got crowded really quick!
My tiny bantam cochin, rose. RIP rose, she died brooding. Wouldn't drink though i set food and water in with her, and took her off the nest daily to take care of needs. :(

A hen healing from a bad case of leg mites, all her scales had been standing up like the one on the middle one before i got her! Poor thing!
