I splurged on a sand box. Very popular with the gals. A mix of play sand, peat, DE, and, if I have any, some wood/charcoal ash. I keep the bath near the pen area and they get to use it whenever roaming the yard.

The girls complained of a boring interior so I spruced up the nest boxes with some colorful exercise floor mats which help cushion the eggs. I've been using pine shavings in the boxes but they always get scattered into the coop so am trying hay over these cushions, hoping for less scattering.
Added a couple of hanging treat holders (one round on the left, the other a rectangular cage on the right). The girls took to the round one holding a tomato right away. The other has cabbage in it and isn't as popular.
The girls have passed their ramp training!
After installing the vinyl, added a drop board across the door opening to help retain shavings.
