I went back and put a board across the back and front of the poop board to keep bedding up here. Before I did that they would kick it all off in a day or two. Now they occasionally roost on the front board and the roost bar but at least they have bedding to poop into so it's easier to clean up!

Poop board and roost bar across the back of the shed and first DIY PVC feeder sitting in front. We ended up mounting a few of these along the left wall.
Linoleum remnant put down on the floor to protect against moisture and to give us a wipeable surface.
