I went to get Hay from the feed store and learned chickens in the area were dying because they were trying to eat the hay and getting impaled....so i got some pine shavings!!!
added a "human door" so it was easy for me to get in there if need be, and for the children i know that cant wait to play with the chickens
A few more decorative touches to be added... maybe some hippie paintings

All the wire was put 18 inches in to the ground so no unwanted pest could dig their way into my chicks.
time to kick the cat out! He's been lounging all week in the coop
Day 6 got the door/gate hung, for easy access and cleaning
