yes they are! thank you... sorry to hear about peep. these ones are from ideal poultry, if you were wantin to get some japanese bantams again i'd definitely recommend em. they're not the classic extremely short legged kinda stock you see all the pics of on google, but they're still pretty short and are still beautiful in my opinion. they also have the sweetest nature
I took care of Peep cause he had a problem with his legs. He couldn't sleep unless my hand was on him. I finally got some sleep after we put a little BB Red hen {Brownie} in the cage with him. She calmed him down but she had an egg problem and one night she had a bad problem with an egg and I guess it was too much for him and he had a heart attack and died. She almost died, but I held her and massaged her tummy until the egg passed. She is fine. I buried Peep with the socks of mine that he liked to sleep on. I have a Black Tailed Buff Japanese hen named Twinkie. She looked just like a twinkie when she was a baby. I think there is a pic of her in the gallery, you just have to look for it. I can't download pics right now. my phone is acting up.
