Inside of the coop, still a work in progress at this point. We have since added a poop board under the upper roosting bar (one of the best things we've done!) and bracket to hang a feeder below the poop board.

We put pea gravel and sand in the run. Of course, now they have dug and stirred dirt into all of it, but I really like the sand in there, helps it dry out quicker and keeps it from becoming a sloppy mess when it rains.
Used 2 dish tubs for the nesting boxes, very easy to pull out and clean, and they have had no problems using them.

Bringing home the chickens! (They are in the cardboard box at the left of the photo lol). They were 23 weeks old when we got them. 2 Rhode Island Reds, 2 Black Australorps, 1 Barred Rock and 1 Speckled Sussex.
Base structure built, ready for fencing. Still have to cut the holes for the windows and pop door and get the ramp put in.
