It has been a while since we been raided by raccoon's & other predators raided & killed my farm animals. Is why I know I need a 22 with a quiet way to fire it, if possible, also with a nigh light mounted on it. We will have to get an idea of how much livestock we lost. I would say end of humans don't have anything on these critters. They got a baby duck not the one I posted that hatched this season. We had another one it got ate last night. I know it is a band of raccoon's. They're evil. really/serious Will have to make an elaborate way to keep em now. & do not like killing animals, but living in the sticks calls for certain calls of action. I did not want war, but there is no other choice but to root em out somehow. just a note, animals up higher had better chances than the one's closest on birch where the raccoon's came in. I will set traps & catch & release more than likely, even though I am not upset to point of killing them. I am at wits end & think the more rational thing to do would be to kill it.
