It was time to build a new coop, as the old one has been unused for several years, and is full of lawn tools and power tools... so i set to work using a bunch of lumber that I had laying around, as well as some new stuff...
Roof rafters going on, had to call in reinforcements to help with this step.
Corner posts are 4x4's and the north wall is a solid wall with no windows. South and East walls each have two big windows that will be able to pop open for fresh air, and latched shut in the winter. West wall will have one window and the door.
This new coop is 8x8, and the platform are 2x6's 16 inches on center...Lily dog feels the need to help in any way she can.
